The Dormitory of the Monks and the Chapter House are two places of exhibition and cultural expression in an exceptional setting in Saint Benoît, south of Poitiers.
Listed as historical monuments, the Romanesque abbey of St. Benedict (eleventh century) houses a cultural center hosting exhibitions and concerts.
On the ground floor, the chapter house of 30 people (area 35 m²), with its beautiful carved capitals, ideally lends itself to small exhibitions and workshops.
Upstairs, the Dormitory Monks, with stained glass and wood frame (XV century), puts on its finery to receive prestigious exhibitions and intimate concerts.
With a capacity of 100 seats (area 130 m²), this splendid and magical room also benefits from an exceptional acoustic sound and brightness.
Opening hours to the public:

Monday from 14h to 18h
Tuesday to Friday from 9h to 12h30 and from 13h30 to 18h
