Large monastery founded in the 12th century by Geoffrey of Loriol following a donation of William VIII, Count of Poitou.
Partially destroyed by the Hundred Years War, Father Guy Doucet will address the physical reconstruction in the fifteenth century.
Its capitals, and its wooden roof (rebuilt in the twentieth century) give some artistic importance.

Opening hours:
The abbey church is free to visit all year round from 9h to 19h, except during religious ceremonies.
The cloisters and the abbey are not open to visitors.
Tourist reception is open from May to September, Friday afternoon from 13h30 to 17h.
