Since 1995, every summer evening and during the Christmas holidays, at dusk from 18:00, the facade of Notre-Dame-la-Grande church is adorned with colors and revives its past of painted church.
Every evening during the Christmas period, from 01st December 2017 to 12th January 2018 the City of Poitiers invites Poitevins and tourists to discover or re-discover the polychrome of Poitiers , the lighting that colors the façade of Notre-Dame the big one.

The artist Skertzo, creator of polychromes, invites you to dream through seven sets: Mineral, Vegetal, Marie, Radegonde, Byzantine, Lapis-Lazuli and Pure Pigment. Also present at Le Mans, Lyon, and Quatar, Skertzo is constantly multiplying and renewing his experiences to better surprise his audience.

Meeting in front of Notre-Dame-la-Grande church from 18h to 18h15!

And from the 21st to the 23rd of December, discover also the Polychromy of the cathedral Sainte-Pierre (creation Kolektif Alambik) from 18h to 22h, on the square of the cathedral.
